Slim ICS ROM for Nexus S and Nexus S 4G!

Slim ICS ROM is probably the most lightweight ICS ROM available for Nexus S and Nexus S 4G. Very similar to ROMs like CodeName, Apex/Bigxie, and Crossbones but this Slim ICS ROM brings you a whopping 8 icons at the bottom of your screen plus a 4×7 app drawer. Certainly, this isn’t for everyone but for those of you who use a lot of apps, it brings a new style to your Nexus S and Nexus S 4G. (And yes, you can use folders too instead.)

Other than that, there’s UI customizations and performance settings built into the “Advanced Slim Settings” with lots of customizations that you can do. You can also overclock the Slim ICS to 1.44Ghz or flash kernels like Matr1x if you want.

If you want a very lightweight ICS ROM, give this ROM a try and let me know what you think!

I’ve got abit of a problem with my Nexus S and I wonder if you can solve it. Well; the problem is basically when I install a rom, any rom, at first for the first day or maybe two the rom will run pretty smoothly and typing will be smooth etc. However, after a day or two the phone will go back to its old sluggy laggy old self…like when typing the responsiveness of the keys are slow and there is lag in the use of the phone and using certain apps. I’ve tried cleaning the Dalvik cache and may other things including setting maximum processes to 4. This use to happen to me with Gingerbread and now with ICS too. I don’t know if this is a overall phone problem which other users face too. So i would like to get your opinion on this and whether or not you experience these problems too. And is there any other ROM (im currently running Codename with the latest matrix kernel, as this is probly the best rom to have) such as MIUI etc which will get rid of this sluggyness and lag in the way changing the keyboard doesn’t really change anything.
