Looking for Jelly Bean ROM on your rooted Nexus S 4G? Wait no more, you can now try the ported Jelly Bean Android 4.1 ROM for your rooted Nexus S 4G. Based off JRN84D, you can get the benefits of Jelly Bean features like lagless UI animations and a ton of new Jelly Bean apps.

This is still highly “beta” but the good news is that Jelly Bean is finally here for your Nexus S 4G!

WiMax 4G, Face Unlock, Bluetooth media (other Bluetooth works), and GPS lock are broken on this ROM but if you don’t mind those it can still be a daily driver. Also for MMS, you will need to manually fix MMS.

Of course, you can always go back to your current ICS ROM if you don’t like it so do make a backup of your current ROM before preceding and let me know what you think of this ROM!

Tried this kernel: My nexus s was left in a constant reboot loop…. Initially. Then, it would boot and freeze….. and then reboot…. Then it seemed to settle until it froze again.
Do I have the right Kernel I hear you ask? I selected the first file download file for my Nexus S.

Having said that, it’s not the first time I have downloaded Matrix Kernel – I previously downloaded the previous version for ICS – I abandoned that after my nexus s started ‘stutter’ and misbehave.

I fully admit I am new to the android community but, this is a particularly ‘bad experience’….
