android-4.1.2-for-rooted-nexus-s-4g

For those of you looking for the latest Android 4.1.2 on your rooted Nexus S 4G, there is a CWM-flashable 4.1.2 ROM you can flash. Built by XDA user cteneyck, this Android 4.1.2 is going to be very close to the official Android 4.1.2 as its built from sources. Everything seems to be working fine out of the box including 4G so this could be the way to get Android 4.1.2 before the official release on your Nexus S 4G.

Try out this Android 4.1.2 and let me know what you think, I think Android 4.1.2 has gotten impressively smoother and faster.

Also, there’s should

Slim Bean Jelly Bean ROM for Rooted Nexus S/S 4G!

slimbean-jellybean-rom-nexuss

For those of you “app-whores” who tend to have a ton of apps on your Nexus S or Nexus S 4G (like 300+ apps), you might want to think about trying the Slim Bean Jelly Bean ROM.

Slightly different from Paranoid Android ROM, Slim Bean Jelly Bean ROM brings a larger screen to your Nexus S/S 4G so you can fit more apps, see more on the screen. Certainly not for everyone (including myself who have hard time reading small letters as I have really bad eyes) but I’ve gotten some great feedback on this ROM and some people live and die by this ROM.

So, if this

BlackBean Jelly Bean ROM for Nexus S and Nexus S 4G!

blackbean-rom-nexus-s

For this week’s ROM of the week, check out BlackBean Jelly Bean ROM for your Nexus S and Nexus S 4G.  The TeamBAKED has done a fabulous job of mixing some of the best of Jelly Bean with AOKP-like ROM Control settings.  It’s a slightly different flavor than AOKP so give it a go and let me know what you think, another very solid Jelly Bean ROM for flasholics this week.

Jelly Bean ROM Android 4.1.1 + Matr1x Kernel for Nexus S 4G!

jellybeanrom-android411-nexuss4g

For Nexus S 4G this week, give this combo a try, Android 4.1.1 JRO03H build (built off sources) plus Matr1x kernel. Seems to run pretty solid and a lot better over the original Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM.

I think next week will be HUGE as far as custom Nexus S 4G ROMs built off Android 4.1.1 but for now, this should be one of the better combos to run on your Nexus S 4G. Let me know what you think!

jellybeanrom_jrn84d_rooted_nexuss4g

Looking for Jelly Bean ROM on your rooted Nexus S 4G? Wait no more, you can now try the ported Jelly Bean Android 4.1 ROM for your rooted Nexus S 4G. Based off JRN84D, you can get the benefits of Jelly Bean features like lagless UI animations and a ton of new Jelly Bean apps.

This is still highly “beta” but the good news is that Jelly Bean is finally here for your Nexus S 4G!

ParanoidAndroid ICS ROM for Nexus S and Nexus S 4G! [Best Tablet Hybrid ROM]

paranoidandroid-nexuss

One of the most popular ICS ROMs nowadays for Android smartphones in general is the ParanoidAndroid ICS ROM. I’ve been guilty of using this awesome ROM on many of my other Android devices like Galaxy Nexus to take advantage of tablet hybrid mode it provides plus the DPI-per-app feature that lets you run apps in phone or tablet mode.

Well, the good news is that it’s now available for Nexus S and Nexus S 4G. Honestly, I don’t think Nexus S has enough resolution to take advantage of the tablet mode on most apps but still, the fact that it’s avai

Bugless Beast ICS ROM for Nexus S and Nexus S 4G is one of Matr1x kernel developer MathKid95′s favorite ROM (he told me).

You won’t find any of the AOKP features (that I like) like ROM Control but you will find a highly-polished ROM that gives you “zero bugs” with performance and battery enhancements.

Give it a go and let me know what you think of this ROM!
