  1. Joe says:

This gets stuck at startup. The Boot shows with the hellybean logo and doesnt get to the OS. Cool look though, sad i couldnt use it though. (Nexus s 4g)

  2. Nico Vigil says:

Same exact thing happened to me. really disappointing.

  3. Wayne Jude Kerr says:

The Rom installed perfectly on my nexus s. its amazing with all the customization options it has. it is much faster than any rom i have ever used on my nexus s. Thx to all the developers for an amazing job done. 4.3 and so much more to do with it. My Nexus s is alive again

  4. Arshad says:

Well, to start with, thanks a ton to the xda developers for having developed such a beautiful customization to nexus s and to Max for bringing all these things in one place and providing us with a lot of tutorials, in fact step-by-step on how to go ahead with things without getting messed up and also answering few(though not all) questions I pose him on twitter.!!

As far as this android 4.3 is concerned, I am pretty impressed with the way my phone started to look, thanks to all these people. It is way smoother than my previous 4.1.2 version and everything is butter here.!! After a lot of time, I started to like my phone again.!! Not the least, I am having fun with my photosphere option in camera as well. Great work guys. Keep things going.!!

The only issue I found is,(I don’t know if its only with me) I ain’t getting touch sounds though I happen to enable them in the settings. Also I don’t get any vibration on unlocking the screen, even after enabling the particular settings.!! Any help would be appreciated.!!

  5. pedro says:

Many thanks to the developers of this rom, i’ve tested almost every rom posted here on my nexus s and this one is by far the best one.
    Great performance and battery life.
Arshad – I’ve the same issue with the touch sounds, but the vibration on unlock screen works fine

  6. Arshad says:

oh.! so i’ve to look about lock screen then.
as far as touch sounds are concerned, thnx pedro, u made me realize am not the only one.! :)

  7. shashank says:

I have installed this rom on my nexus s and feel like having a new phone alltogether . Amazing performance. Thanks to all the developers who made this happen . i dont have to buy a new phone . Its buttery smooth , great features , customizations , and most of all experience 4.3 on nexus s . Thanks again . Can anybody help me with buying as external battery for nexus s . Can anybody suggest me a good external slim battery .

  8. Nico Vigil says:

Did anyone get it working on the Nexus s 4g?

  9. Rikhil says:

Hey guys, I love this ROM but my battery drains a 100% in like 5 hours!! Charged the phone a 100% at night and was off in the morning. Google services took 42% of the battery life. I had overclocked the phone to 1200, is it because of that or some other reason?

I have a nexus s. Prior to this I was using the other 4.3 ROM on nexusshacks and was getting over 24 hours of battery life.

    • pedro says:

That’s not normal but I think the 4.3 drains more battery than the 4.2
I’ve tested mine overclocked @1400MHz with the 4.2 and the battery didn’t last 1 day so I set it to 1000MHZ wich made a huge difference, always with the smartassV2 setting, know it lasts at least 2 days
      My tested settings:
      4.2 – Min@100MHz Max@1000MHz : smartassV2 : CPU Freq(idle)100MHZ
      4.3 – Min@100MHz Max@1000MHz : smartassV2 : CPU Freq(idle)200MHZ

  10. drew says:

BLD tuning not working :-( but other than that, everything is perfect!!

  11. Eric says:

Doesn’t work on 4G…stuck at the boot logo.

  12. chris says:

I am getting the “Android.process.acore has stopped working” message repeatedly with this ROM. Any suggestions? I haven’t found any other references to this with HellyBean 4.3

    • A.J. says:

i get that to off of a different Jellybam ROM it only happens to Jellybam ROMs for sum reason but if you just press the “WAIT” it should work still at least it does for me

  13. Ryan says:

NS4G STUCK IN BOOT LOOP! Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, install rom, install gapps. Did it 3 times. Always the same result. Help?

  14. William says:

Stuck at boot. I guess it’s not going to work.

  15. Michael says:

Seems to run smoothly, but i do miss bln. Which kernel should i use for bln and smooth performance on 4.3?

  16. Faseih says:

    where to get boot.img???

    • Tracii says:

I was also wondering about the boot.img. This is my first time rooting any phone and I did run into a few problems. I didn’t install boot.img, (at least I don’t think I did!) and I’m not sure that Superuser is installed either, no app in app drawer but in settings there is “# superuser”. Anyways, everything seems to be running well, very impressed so far. Thanks to all the developers!

  17. Rolf2000 says:

I have installed everything and it worked very good.
Only OC to 1.3GHz bricked my phone, so I can not support 1.4 GHz,as suggested above…

  18. Neeraj says:

The ROM was installed on my Sprint Nexus Phone but it is showing n network.. I am not being able to make and recieve calls.. No network it is showing

  19. craig says:

Everything runs super smooth and fast, o/c’d to 1.4ghz idle 100mhz using interactive CPU gov. AWESOME! – NS i9023

  20. kenneth says:

thanks! its fast and stable,,:) also with great goodies!
