GummyNex ICS ROM for Rooted Nexus S 4G! [SPH-D720]

Another great ICS ROM for rooted Nexus S 4G is the GummyNex ICS ROM, which also has 4G WiMax/camera working, ported off the GummyNex ROM off a Galaxy Nexus phone.

This one is very similar to the oICS ROM and gives you another option on ICS for the rooted Nexus S 4G SPH-D720.

We will be optimizing this ROM too but in the meanwhile, hit up the download links to try it out yourself and don’t forget to leave your thoughts on this ROM.

  1. C. Marquardt says:

Here is an article that I found. Any know apps available yet?

“One welcome new feature of Ice Cream Sandwich is the integrated visual voicemail system, but Google isn’t providing a built-in app taking advantage of it. Visual voicemail is carrier dependent, so ICS can only provide an API to let developers plug into the system, meaning each network needs to develop an app that works with its own service. Slashgear reached out to Google and confirmed this is indeed the case, and the API should make implementation a little simpler for carries and third parties. So when the Galaxy Nexus launches on December 8th, there’ll probably be an app for that. If not, you know who to blame.”

NexusGummy 6.0 is now out.. just about every bug fix has been implemented along with speed optimizations… its now my daily driver over OICS v43 w/ Matrix Kernel…
